French Comic Produced with Blender

tase_comic.jpgTase, from the French community BlenderClan has finished his first comic, and he's about to show it to French editors. He did a great and entertaining work, and very stylish also.

Check out his WIP thread, with a lot of different pictures.

The 3D part is really interesting, with a great and consistent use of radiosity. Tase gives us a view on the 5 first pages here.

Great, very original usage of lights and shaders (as I remember the trick is in usage of radiosity).

that's great! i too am finding blender an indespensible tool in illustration now. how did you get the lines to have varying thickness? when i try the outlines, they are so uniform and underwhelming…cant get that handdrawn look with it.

Yes, please show us how you got a better result in your lines than the standard edge settings. Great looking images!

These look nice with some exceptions in the outline department. One more reason to get freehand inside blender – this comic will explode with awesome! :D
