The file name suggests that it is some sort of track. I got the impression that it was a lighting track, such as the sort that one mounts to a ceiling for light fixtures that can be slid along the track as one sees fit.

You'd be surprised what appears to be one thing, but wasn't intended that way. I've seen the pattern of cubical groups in offices that resemble the same shape. Thus, the artist may not have intended to make it resemble a swastika, but instead, a multi-direction, functional item for interior design.

You're not entirely mistaken. But not completely correct either. Which is appropriate.

If i'm not mistaken the Nazi symbol was an anticlockwise-swastika and not the clockwise swastika that has religious and spiritual significance...

I know that these models are free and all, but they're not that impressive really. I mean seriously, the bookcase is a cube with a photo on a bookcase on! It varies though - but conisdering this is Blendernation it's worth noticing that (at least I) couldn't import the models into Blender, all the parts ended up in a heap in the center.

I can certainly see people/situations where some of these come in handy but for now this collection is akin to some average amateur's portfolio - albeit one that can be used freely.

A global declaration should be made that the swastitika is no longer to be firstly associated with Nazism. It had been common in many cultures, east and west, for thousands of years, before the Nazis adopted it. It's absurd to still be censoring it.

We should return the swastika to its far greater and traditional meanings, such as eternality, universal order, harmony and the balance of opposites. Left facing swastikas often represent love and mercy, right facing represent strength and intelligence. Even the word swastika originates from a Sanskrit word meaning ‘well-being’.

@Bone,

Even if they are, you can import them into Blender by choosing file>import>3d Studio.
