The last five team members have just been announced by the Blender Foundation! All team members and their portfolios are presented on the 'About Durian' page now as well.
The new members are:
- Angela Guenette (modeling, rigging, animation)
- Ben Dansie (3D generalist)
- Nathan Vegdahl (rigging, animation)
- Lee Salvemini (animation)
- Soenke Maeter (shading, light, compositing)
This in addition to:
- Colin Levy (director, 3D generalist)
- David Revoy (concept art)
Technical support:
- Brecht van Lommel
- Campbell Barton
Producer:
- Ton Roosendaal

Yay! Soenke and Ben are both on the team. However, I've been most excited about Colin, I remember watching all the clips on his site like 2 years ago, it was some great inspriation.
Nice looking team, I did notice however that there seems to be a missing modeler.
I see Ms Angela Guenette for character models but i don't see anyone for environments.
Just curious I guess lol, or maybe you bunch already have plans to have the story take place along the country side. ^^

Well one way to secure one dev. and more artists would be to make sure that the presales campaign hits the roof. The pricing should secure that most people will be able to help funding the project.

Yeah, let's hear that again Kunisch. Throw money at blender. Get those pre-sale DVD's and goodies and training materials. Maybe even just throw money to those developers themselves.

Indeed , I am not very informed about great Blender artist names, but I was amazed to find this from her some time ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmHIUFIKw-E It's done fully with blender (some of her works are with other tools she handles outstandingly as well, by all means) , and the demo reel… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dU2YSKGKpU you probably all knew about her, I just didn't till some weeks ago… I was *amazed* . I don't really know several of the other names, but everything makes me think this is a such a group of aces…

Looks like a great team. I didn't realize Angela worked on Everyone's Hero. My boys love that movie, although I don't think they'll be able to watch Durian till their a bit older
