Elysiun changes
Those of us who spend most of their community life wondering on Elysiun’s forums in search of the latest news/infos/projects/tutorials have aknowledged for sure the change, now if you try to reach www.elysiun.com you’ll be instantaneously redirected to the brand new Blenderartist.org forums; but don’t worry, all the preciuos old contents will still be there for the joy of the nostalgic ones and the future generations of BlenderHeads.
Although the actual design of the user interface is only a temporary solution (it cannot be anything else as long as it is the standard VBullettin theme) all the users can start enjoying the tons features the new VBullettin board engine has to offer. The most visited community resource “site” is going to improve a lot, there’s no better news for forum maniacs like me.

Sorry about this little shock. The elYsiun.com regulars will notice a
*slight* change in the setup of this site. The last couple of months we’ve
been preparing a number of changes that will improve the usabillity and stabillity of elYsiun.One of these changes took place today. A while ago we bought a
new forum system called vbulletin that has great features that can
help us moderate this forum more efficiëntly and also help us
provide more services for the Blender community.One of the things we want to spend a lot of time on is the design.
Because we don’t want to rush this we have temporarily adopted

I’m glad it’s a temporary look because I like the orange theme of Elysiun. So it’s now known as BlenderArtists Forum!? I like Elysiun more.
Me too. I guess I could get used to it however.
This might be a handy note, we made redirection scripts so all your old links to forum threads should still work!
A nicer theme will be very welcome, but I don’t feel a real urge for it.
After all it’s the content that is important.
The new site is awesome, I’ve always preferred vBulletin over many others and you can do things much quicker and more user friendly.
I really think if the new theme they are designing is different from the old one, that they should allow people to switch between them. (I wonder what the new one will be like?)

Will it eventually be transferred back to the Elysiun.com url? Or will it stay at the blenderartists.org/forum?
It’s kind of awkward looking. Definitely not a step up from even the default
It’s so sad that you can’t make a gateway between a mailinglist and the forum. The code for this is out there. I would never set my foot in a web forum, because it’s such an inefficient way to talk with the community. I very much want to talk with everybody, but web forums are the pain.
