After all the tranquility of the last two headers I figured we could use a little more action this week. The one I selected is by Jean Sébastien Guillemette [X-Warrior]. It's an oldie, but it's also one of my all-time Blender art favorites, so I'm happy to feature it here ;-) Congratulations, Jean Sébastien! Your image will be on the site until next week.

Bart should really do somekind of database with a lot of headers, and the site would shuffle the banners automatically once a week :)
Looks great! I think the header could be a little bit taller, though. A lot of the details and impact of the graphics get lost due to the size and necessary cropping.
A database based on a voting system … the winner goes live in the upcoming week :P

relledom: the smoke is actually a photo. The render was originally a test to composite the mech with real footage. So the mech is the only thing 3d…with alot of post prod

Hey, when's the header gonna be updated? I thought it was going to change one a week.
@Sam: I'll do my best to change it again as soon as possible. Right now I don't have much time to work on this site – my newborn son demands all my free time ;-)
