Thanks for the blend. I will be looking at it in more detail over the weekend. It's funny, when I look at the jpg – I had a completely different take on the structure (maybe had to do with the background and contrasting – shake?). For some reason, I was getting a very silky feel from the image.

No node-setups involved. Don't laugh at the UV-texture, it was intended for testing purposes…dindn't look too bad in renderings so I let it be. I rendered out passes and tweaked them a little in shake (trying to teach myself shake atm, which can handle multilayer-.exr btw)
