Thanks Bart, I also thought of joining the workshop and meeting other Blender users as well as the animators (teachers in this case).
The reason why I would not go is to let other people join the workshop, people who need a real introduction to 3D (I'm using 3D Software for years now…)

@humble: well, most beginners aren't very bloody ;-) Also, even though the workshop is not interesting for you, it's a great way to hook up with some Blender users!

Too bad it's only for bloody beginners ('What is 3D?, GUI of Blender…')
because otherwise I would have been in!
Living close to munich, this is a great offer to me.
I hope there are more workshops coming, with more advanced topics…
