Here's a cool demonstration of Daniel 'Pepeland' Martinez Lara's Blender setup and of the new grease pencil feature. A preview of the video that he's editing is available as well – done in Max and Maya, not Blender. Funny stuff though :)

A great article about the Blender fluid simulation has just been released by an online publication called DevMag. We have been contacted by Reynante Martinez, who wrote a small description of the publication and the article:
Totally Blended is hosting over 20 videotutorials that may be of use if you're learning Blender. I watched a few and quite enjoyed them, although they're sometimes just as funny/crazy as the website's design and font ('woaaahhhh…. I'm really tired, okay – here we go', 'ah sorry, that was just me adjusting my chair' ;-).
Lile Hanson has created an excellent tutorial on using the new GLSL preview feature. He shows you how to combine different layers, by painting them onto your model in Texture Paint mode using the paint brush. This is similar to masking two photos in Photoshop. I've been wanting this feature for a long time and it's great to see it implemented in Blender.
(submitted by Jordan Harris) Knowing a lot about a piece of software is one thing, but being able to explain it clearly and concisely through a tutorial is another.
William Chamberlin has recently released a fabulous tutorial on creating a realistic render of LDraw bricks. (LDraw is a virtual library of 3D LEGO parts) It's well-written and easy to follow, so check it out.
