A while ago I had the chance of getting my hands on the ManCandy FAQ DVD, made by Bassam Kurdali. This is the first title of the "Open Movie Workshop" series, produced by Blender Foundation.
After watching about 7 hours of videos I have to say: this is a must have if you are serious about making rigging and animating with Blender.

I can tell you this is an excellent DVD. I have seen much of it already and it goes into great detail. Jonathan does a good job of going through the process and giving plenty of step by step info on his workflow so you can easily follow along.

Neal Hirsig, a professor at the prestigious Tufts University, has created an online course to teach students to use Blender. The course is available to all for free on Hirsig's website.

This is a follow-up to the article we posted a few days ago about a free Blender compositing tutorial available through an agreement between CG Channel and cmiVFX. The .blend file for that tutorial has been released! The demand for that tutorial has been the highest of any other tutorial on cmiVFX's on-demand player.
