Fresh Blender News, Every Day
I'll be visiting the Blender Institute later today and I hope I'll have a chance to talk to some of the people in the Apricot team. As they're in the last days of the project I'm sure they'll be busy enough, but I might just be able to squeeze a few minutes of attention out of them. What are your burning questions for them?
Update: thanks for all your input! I'll try to get the video up later today.
There's only 20 days left of the Apricot project (Yo Frankie!). Venomgfx (Pablo) has posted a new blog on the Apricot site regarding the plans for the final few weeks.
There's also a call for documentation/tutorial ideas to be included on the DVD, along with a list of ideas already thought up by the team for us to get excited about, so get on over to the blog and let them know what you'd like to see!

Pablo Vazquez [VenomGFX] will be joining the Apricot team next week as their new Lead artist. Former lead artist Qareeb left the project for personal reasons. Adding Pablo to the team should definitely increase the project's wackiness! With some luck, he'll be in Amsterdam just in time to be at the Peach Premiere. Looking forward to meet you there, Pablo!!
Did you check out the Apricot Blog lately? If you didn`t, you should take a look at a small massive list of features, requested for the project.

Apricot is edging towards the start of the project sometime next week. They are pushing towards a goal of 1000 DVD's sold. They are at 500+ now. And come next week your name will not be credited on the DVD. Don't miss the chance to be eternally famous! Or even better, don't miss the chance to support Blender development. Want faster realtime previews? Improved export? An external plugin interface? Help support the project because those are some of the things being looked at for improvement by the Apricot team.
