It’s been a while coming, but Adelaide (South Australia) has a Blender user meeting approaching! This Wednesday 13th July, 6pm at Monkeystack (more details in the full post). There will be a windows machine set up with a big screen TV/projector. So you can bring stuff along to show off. The plan is for the meeting to be cycles themed, but you can bring along anything you want to share. Also there will be free pizza!

Free Blender Workshop in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, May 7th
The Hackerspace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia is offering a free Blender workshop on Saturday May the 7th. The event runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and will be taught in English. The tutor, Dorian Santner, will be teaching the basics of blender including:
- Blender’s user interface.
- Basic 3D modelling.
- Lighting and camera setup.
- Textures and materials.
- Basic animation.

New York Blender Meetup – Saturday April 30th
Polish Blender Conference – July 23rd
This years Polish Blender conference is being held in Wroclaw, on the 23rd of July. The conference will feature both training and a showcase of blenders uses in the entertainment industry. Topics will include talks on modelling, texturing, using Blender with After-Effects, and writing scripts for Blender with Python.
