I sat down for a one on one conversation with Bobby Beck CEO and President of Animation Mentor at this years SIGGRAPH conference. Prior to starting Animation Mentor Bobby had worked at Pixar Animation Studios, Tippet Studio, And Walt Disney Feature Animation. His Animation credits include Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc. and The Incredibles. We discussed the current industry job trend and Bobby offers some excellent animation advice.

Blender at SIGGRAPH 2010, July 26th
The Blender Foundation will not have its own booth at SIGGRAPH this year. Instead, two ‘Birds of a Feather’ meetings will be held. During the ‘Blender Community Meeting’, Ton Roosendaal will discuss this year’s results and give a sneak preview of Sintel.
