Call for Content Blenderart #25
It’s time again to start thinking about articles, tutorials and images for Issue # 25 of Blenderart Magazine. The theme for this issue is “Winter Wonderlandâ€!

With winter fast approaching, I thought it would be fun for everyone to flex some creative energy creating cold wintery scenes.
Winter is filled with fun outdoor activities as well as quite a few holidays. So let’s “chill out†and create our own “Winter Wonderlandâ€.
We are looking for:
* Winter characters and scenes
* Winter sports and activities (scenes, images, animations, games)
* Winter holidays (scenes, images, animations, games)Also wanted, great shaders, materials and node setups for great looking materials and effects.

As usual you can also submit your best renders based on the theme of the issue. As the theme of this issue is “Winter Wonderlandâ€, we are looking for winter images of characters, activities and winter holidays. Please note if the entry does not match with the theme it will not be published.

this will obviously sound out of topic but i would like to know what the blenderart team think about a special issue of BAM dedicated to python scripting for Blender
i live in a country where there’s not a lot of snow in winter
i am nonetheless a fan of Blender for years and although i don’t professionnally use it i everyday take a look at blendernation and read a lot of pdf’s at home and at work (of course while working on computer) and recently bought my first Blender book in a book fair…it was an extraordinary moment…seeing a Blender book in the real world and not in the cyber one !!!!(lol!)
i am over 51 now
i hope Blenderart team will reveal for newbies and non-professionnal users of Blender the secrets of python scripting for Blender

Good idea, djallalnamri. If you want a book that covers python scripting in Blender, check out Tony Mullen’s Mastering Blender. It’s a good book. I’m on the scripting part now :)
