Oww! I'm not able to bend my fingers like that and they are bending in the wrong points. Strange.

The knuckles look odd. They look more like pellets that are caught under the skin rather than end of the bones that forms the knuckle joints. Better improved that. What not make it an actual bone that move with the armature? After all if you extend your fingers straight, the knuckles should disappear. Seams no other means but to create an actual oddly shaped joint bone there

Hmm! Muscle elasticity is completely absent. Every part seemed tense. None stretches or contracts. I hope an improvement can be made with the available to tools Blender has.

And oh! Actually breathing is not made by expansion of the ribcage. That is wrong. If you just take shallow breath, minimal motion will be observed on the ribcage. The diaphragm would just push the stomach and intestines and thus we observe expansion and deflation of the belly. If deeper breaths are taken, The ribcage would actually just rise enlarging the available cavity beneath it making the lungs inflate. It just seems to expand because in rising the ribcage, we pulled the abdominal skin and muscles making them tuck in slightly. In short we should just be seeing the chest rise and fall along with other parts that attach to like the shoulders, and arms and the trapezius muscles. While the guy breathes. Do this seem impossible to achieve?

Though compared to other means, this fared better.

I don't think that's a jelly chest rather the video just want to show how the breathing system work while doing other things at the same time.

great looking rig although the jelly chest looks really weird. his ribcage should definatly not be floating about like it that while the muscle mass stays stationary its really odd

gary, that´s strange...

Mirror 3 is down, that´s true, I´ve just erased it from the page. Mirror 1 is a Megaupload link, and mirror 2 is a Rapidshare link. Try downloading Firefox and trying mirror 2. You can also check if your Firewall or Antivirus are the ones that make IE crash.

Quote from the page: "1 meter = 1 Blender Unit scale"

It is a catastrophe that blender still has no unit system.

johnj, there nothing special to been done in order to make it work with make human. If you know how to use BlenRig you might be able to rig any model in a day or two. Actually, you can get it running pretty decently in a couple of hours, but if you wanna make very detailed tweaks you might want to spend more time with it.
