The BLENDING LIFE challenge has ended and what a ride! There's been some amazing entries!

The judges have given their scores which will count for fifty percent of the total score. The other fifty percentĀ  will come from you, so they need you to please stop by the contest site and and give your vote!

Once again many thanks to our main sponsors who has made this challenge possible: 3d.sk, Montage Studio and also Focal Press who is sponsoring six books by Roland Hess "Animating with Blender: How to Create Short Animations from Start to Finish

Nothing that looks photo realistic, but a lot of them are still really good looking.

These are great! I hope someday to be able to do something worthy of a contest like this. I hope the winners will do some tutorials on those fantastic skin textures.

ByronK, I totally agree, especially Nyxia and Frizmer! Frizmer was so well done that my wife really thought he was a photo of a really ugly dude! of course she thought there was something screwy with the "photo" but she really thought it was a photo.

Take it easy and happy holidays,
    Rob

While certainly a valiant effort, something went terribly wrong with the Ultrviolet entry…

I mostly agree with the judges desicions… although I would have liked to see The pugilist in the finalists too.
