BlenderGuide.org

BlenderguideThere is a new web resource for Blender, called Blenderguide. The main objective of this new resource is to collect and categorize websites which talks about Blender. A lot of good links are already available there, all categorized and rated by users. It`s a good place to find tutorials and other stuff related to Blender.

The person behind the project is Pascal Wichmann. Here are a few words from Pascal:

It’s not yet finished – neither design nor the structure of the categories. But
keep an eye on this website. Everybody can suggest links or even categories and
I hope that my project will grow and will be able to help the global blender
community.

If you want to visit Blenderguide, visit this link. Don`t forget to suggest a link!

    Awesome! Beautiful logo! Congratulations Pascal.

Maybe this is the perfect place/guy to give a fresh new look to that:

The logo looks nice, but it isn’t original. Just two icons from KDE put on top of each other.

As to the site, I think it is a great idea!

    Pascal,

I don’t know your exact (web-)configuration…, but a nice feature could be, scanning the sites for keywords (from your accepted list) and display them with the link…

    Thanks,
    Niels

    Thank you so much, guys.
I’m convinced that Blenderguide will be at least useful for all the beginners.

Tynach is right, of course, the logo consists of two famous KDE icons that I only arranged. I didn’t have enough time to create a logo myself (I have to learn for a written test in 11 days – it’s my lecture “Virtual Engineering 1 and 2″). These KDE icons look simply splendid. I didn’t pretend to having made this myself (correct English? probably not…). As far as I know I don’t violate any copyrights – however if this IS the case, please drop me a line. Otherwise I will leave it to this logo, as I like it very much by now.

    Please keep in mind:
Blenderguide will only succeed in providing the best and up-to-date links if we collect these links together, rate them and report broken links.

Thank you all for your support and kindness!

    @Apollos:
