It is finally time to vote for the winner of the 2007 Blender F1 Challenge. No less than 55 contestants participated this time, so there is quite a run for the 1st prize (A Blender Logo T-Shirt, Animusic 2 DVD, “Introducing Character Animation with Blender” book by Tony Mullen with a Sybex logo T-shirt).

  3. 3 nawabz

there were all good, but i voted for my vavourits.

when can we see the results?

  4. 4 SaphireS

    Nice ones in there.
When is the deadline for voting?
    I want to see results:)

  5. 5 Penndragon

It was a tough choice, but I believe that a few did stand out from the rest.

Mark Rasmussen's 8th grade class wasn't too bad either. As a beginner myself to Blender, they did better than I could at my current skill. I hope that I can spread Blender to my school…

Heads Up: Spelling mistake last line: exited = excited

    Anyway…
It's always amazing to see the number and quality of entries in the challenge. As Penddragon said, there are a few that stand out from the rest. I can't help feeling, though, that there were a few more Really-High-Quality entries last year… maybe it's just me.

As to Mark Rasmussen's class – I particularly loved this one: http://www.room49.com/blender/f1_contest/pictures/F-1%20Racer/zf.jpg
Gotta be considered the best :)

    Very impressive!

  8. 8 Felix_Kütt

@rpgsimmaster: i agree, that one was the best of those Rasmussen's class works.. :) though they where all good(but whats with the weponry on so many of those, lol)

  9. 9 Zsolt

Once again, some nice works here!
The average quality improves every year, although I also have to agree with rpgsimmaster…

Too bad I couldn't enter this year, at least I won't be biased :) Well anyways I'm saving my concept for next year.

    Wow ! Great works !

I thought jesse nelson was the best image. It didn't exactly flow with the theme but I thought it the best.

I dunno, the 2006 images I think were better on the whole. Too much plastic looking cars. Still was a great way to spend 15 minutes of my morning looking through them all!

  12. 12 Grumpy

    Oh dear. That was painful.

Can we vote for BullX's 2006 entry again?
