I looked through my last projects and there is another maybe interessting animation for which we used blender: A trailer for a cell phone which is especially for older people. Compositing in After Effects just for the buttons and Text.
I used [Blender] for an animation which yesterday could be seen on german TV (LexiTV on MDR). It's 40sek long and about weather. I tried particelsim for the volley(?), softbodies for the tree, particelsim for the leaves, shapekeys in the winterscene. The compositing with some effects (scale, numbers, rain, lightning,…) I did with After Effects.
[Here is a trailer for the Mediathek of the MDR and I had fun with rebuilding a Website in Blender and videotextures and other nice features of Blender. Have I already mentioned that I love this extremly nice piece of software?

I'm from germany too, but I don't watch this channel because it's mostly for old people.
Nicely done… I should try my hand at a commercial for our local station, although I don't think they allow advertisement, it'd have to be something educational, or entertaining.

The first moment I read the title, I thought that there's a commercial about Blender Animation..
I think the title should be 'Commercials done in Blender'..
Anyway, all commercials are fantastically done.. just WOW!!
And you *could* have used blender for the text on that phone commercial too (node blur / overlay) . It just would have taken a bit longer :)

Why does that lady wink at us? Does she /always/ have her browser and OS chrome hidden on her macbook white?
@amdbcg: Do you happen to know a tutorial or manual page for animating text being typed on an object like in the commercial?
Is this similar to animating stroking paint on an object or progressively revealing an image texture on an object?
This is defiantly one of the areas in which Blender should be used even more!
I really like the composition for the cell phone.
I know it's only an implied scene, but the water streams in the middle weather animation look like "rugs" on top of the grass, instead of it looking like the grass should slope down towards the streams. Nitpicking, but it bothered me for some reason.
The website emulation is definitely cool.
