Blender 2.41 Released

Improvements to the Game Engine: programmable vertex and pixel shaders, usage of Blender materials, split screen mode, improvements to the physics engine and more. The core tools have also been improved with subsurface aware UV mapping and unwrapping, set chaining and one that I particularly want to try out: inclusion of the mesh sculpting Python script. The full releaselogs are available on Blender.org

A big kudos to everyone involved!

Now, go grab your copy but please be gentle on the Blender.org server: please don’t choose the NL location. And don’t forget the game engine demos; you can find them under (God knows why) ‘Regression files’ on the download page. There are some pretty neat game engine demos in that file.
