This Kajimba trailer is a compilation of the various project clips that they've already released and a few that I hadn’t seen before. It has a folksy feel to it and the animation, characters, textures are excellent as usual. I found it very funny as it plays well to my crude sense of humor. Hopefully they'll get it funded and we can see a completed project in the near future.

LuxRender has started a Materials Database from which you can download materials as well as upload you own content to it. It looks pretty impressive so far. While you are at the LuxRender site check out the gallery too. There are some wonderful Blender LuxRenders in the exhibit.
Karan Shah has created an excellant 96 step mega architectural tutorial on CG Tuts . "You will go through all the motions necessary to construct a complete, photo-realistic kitchen scene in Blender, and then render it with Yafaray (a free ray tracing, open source rendering engine)."

JeriH has released his George Rig 1.0. and he's obviously put a lot of thought into this rigging, keeping the animator in mind all the time with simplified controls and a separate window for the entire IK/FK controllers with a nice GUI background. In addition he's completed a companion manual for it.
Hand Turkey Studios is going to allow live public access to our production as we compete this coming weekend (17-19 July) in this year's 48 Hour Film Project in Richmond, Virginia. We assembled a team and competed last year with the ambitious goal of completing an animation in Blender as our submitted work.
