Fresh Blender News, Every Day
Peoria, IL, U.S.A. – MultiAd, a central Illinois firm specializing in marketing and advertising services production, was seeking a cost-effective approach to 3-D modeling and rendering. As client demand continues to grow for MultiAd's 3-D production process, the company is seeking well-rounded Blender artists who are enthusiastic about an adventure into a hybrid 3-D production pipeline.

We recently used Blender in a few commercials we did for a company out of Virginia called "Woodfin". In the commercial we made their mascot 'Watch Dog' talk. We targeted Blender as the ideal software for its ability to composite from within without having to export video or use additional software. This made the process of modeling, texturing, animating and compositing one fluid motion.
1) 2.5 project issues
- Martin mentioned a keymap design conflict that has to be handled, and suggests a solution for how to combine 'tweaks' (drag mouse) and clicks consistantly.

Issue is that this requires an updated dependency graph system, which is not in the first release specs yet. Ton suggests to at least put it on the 2.5 beta2 list, maybe beta1?

This Kajimba trailer is a compilation of the various project clips that they've already released and a few that I hadn’t seen before. It has a folksy feel to it and the animation, characters, textures are excellent as usual. I found it very funny as it plays well to my crude sense of humor. Hopefully they'll get it funded and we can see a completed project in the near future.
Warning: Adult language and humor
