The Golden Age 3D Experience

Hello everybody, i’m back with a new project called ‘ the golden age 3D experience’ down here some information about what it is about.

To bring back the history i invented a technique to reconstruct old cities with digital 3D modeling. In combination with a lot of old maps, it is possible to recreate it, and that gives an impressive image of the cities.

Last year we launched the first project, we put 22 digital stereoscopic paintings on 3D televisions. The result was amazing and there were a lot of questions how this was possible. It was also the first time in a Dutch museum to put virtual paintings on a 3D television, and also that was a great success.

So now we want to put things to the next level, in place of images we want to make 3D video

I’m already working on the next project, and that is all about the city of Hoorn. In 1987 a group of people made an impressive scaled model of the city, they worked 7 years on it and its very high detailed. We want to reconstruct a digital model and rebuild three places in an impressive 3D environment based on the scaled model, all in stereoscopic 3D video. This will be the most intense experience people ever had from the 17th century in the modern age.
