The picture got a great scale! Wish I could do that too :)
There are just missing some explosions, and a helicopter falling down.

nice work. quick feedback that the barbs on the barbed wire fence were too neatly aligned and spaced and rotated on each wire. that was a bit distracting. real barbs are much more random.

Very good modeling! However, for more realism I think it needs some atmospeheric effects,
My recurring problem is : “How do I find it ?” on Blendswap.
A search for “refinery” gives “oil refinery props”.
“albin” gives only albinos.
How to download corresponding blend file to play with.

Hello, please can someone explain why can’t we download the Oil Refinery 3D model? There is no link for download of the model!
Why SHOULD it be downloadable? This article is about a breakdown video, that’s all.

By the way , could you advise me from where I can find some basic model of an industrial building, such as a power plant or refinery. I am studying Concept Art and one of the tasks is to build a scene using some free models.

Oh, you’re right, sorry! It appears the model is no longer available on Blend Swap. Sketchfab has some free models, but it appears most ‘oil refinery’ assets are paid. You can still use them to study shape though..
