Tesla: The weather man – Indie game
The game has just been released by Thoughtquake Studios and was created using a combination of The Gimp, Inkscape and of course Blender. Aside from the great visuals, physics and story line the game has been placed in the IndieDB top 100 indie games of 2010 and has recently been released on Desura.

Hm – the animations could be better, but the graphics are nice. Tesla himself is a bit undetailed and plain – he could be more detailed.

well no big deal its not opensource. just looking for a multiplatform platform game. aren’t there any kits that allow you to develop for *ni*/Win/Mac/etc.
auch keine große Sache sein nicht Open Source. nur nach einem Multiplattform-Plattform-Spiel. gibt es keine Bausätze, die Sie für * ni * / Win / Mac / etc entwickeln können.
Yeah, I don’t quite get why someone developing a game on Blender wouldn’t release a Linux version. As I understand it, there are some problems with the BGE on Mac, but that Linux works fine.
Still, I *love* the casting of Tesla as a hero using natural science to take down “a crazed edison”. Lol.
Ja, ich weiß nicht recht bekommen, warum jemand die Entwicklung eines Spiels auf Blender würde nicht freigeben eine Linux-Version. Wie ich es verstehe, gibt es einige Probleme mit der BGE auf dem Mac, aber das Linux funktioniert. Still, I * Liebe * das Gießen von Tesla als Held mit Naturwissenschaft zu take down "ein verrückter Edison". Lol.

as pure design quality there is maybe things that can be better but
it’s gameplay first.

Nizza, das ist eine Menge Arbeit, Glückwunsch! Gut Ding, es sieht wie ein gutes Gameplay mit guter Ausstattung, als reine Design-Qualität gibt es vielleicht Dinge, die besser sein können, aber es ist Gameplay zuerst. Ich hoffe, es einmal zu versuchen!

Ich stimme auf die Erläuterungen für Grafiken und Animationen, aber das Gameplay ist wirklich cool (Ich habe versucht die Demo). Ich mag es! Ich mag auch sehr den Kopf und die Stimme des alten Mannes geben Stücke von Beratung :-) Herzlichen Glückwunsch für diese tolle Arbeit!
Looks like a nice detailed and in-depth game, pity not much time was put into creating a style for the graphics to follow, thats where this game seems to be really lacking.
Sieht aus wie eine nette ausführliche und eingehende Spiel, schade nicht viel Zeit war in die Schaffung eines Stils für die Grafik zu folgen, legte das ist, wenn dieses Spiel wirklich zu fehlen scheint.
It is not cool. I even think it is insulting and shameful. To Take Tesla’s name and life achievement to make a game and earned small change. Tesla wanted to find a way that everyone have free energy. Unfortunately, the greedy bastards are prevented him. But still, he has given us so much.
The game at least should be free or author should create and to invent his own characters for for commercial use.
