Architectural Reel: Stillnotstatic

Wonderful architectural work in this reel. Some of these places I could see myself live in :)

Hello Blendercommunity,

after years of learning and experimentation with Blender without publishing any artwork on the internet, i finally created an Architectural Reel that i uploaded on youtube and published on Artstation.
99% of the objects are modeled from scratch in Blender and rendered with Cycles.
Hope you like it!
Please help me spread my artwork and give me some feedback, comments or critique.

And last but not least: Thanks to everyone who made Blender what it is today.

  1. nice, good work,
you should give credit to the architects like you give credit to the musicians. One of the buildings is the famous Farnsworth House designed by Mies van der Rohe. Your skills are good so I would like to see you work on real projects (''houses in the forest'' and existing pavilions are not actual projects) Then everybody can see that Archviz with cycles is possible and can reach Vray quality.

    • Thanks for the nice Feedback!
Giving credits to the architects would be a good idea... thx for that! I already gave credit to Mies van der Rohe in my ArtStation-Project description, but i should add him in the Reel, too. The problem is that the only existing Houses in the Reel (Barcelona/German Pavillion and Farnsworth House) are the only ones i know the architect. The House with the courtyard and the Bedroom was a picture in my memory, that i had seen some month before anywhere on the internet. And the Dining room was without real reference. Yes working an real projects would be nice.

  2. Not bad at all, the transitions are a little harsh(fade the transitions a little) and you need to get some more work done on the materials and textures(especially the first scene the on the walls), but over all it's a good reel.
    thank you for sharing :-)

    • Thanks for the feedback and the nice idea to fade the transitions a little. I'll give that a try... when i find some free time to rework this. Thanks!
