Ian Hubert's new reel is very, very impressive. (I just don't get the poetry though, but then again I rarely do ;-).
It's been another 6 years, so I figured it was time to put out another visual effects reel!!
Most 3d stuff made in Blender 3d, most compositing in After Effects.
I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

really impressive work! The only scene I don't get it the two cartoonish characters clubbing each other on a staircase. An easter egg maybe? 0:57 - 0:59
