The French company Iconem preserves endangered heritage, for example in war zones (read more about them here). Today, they share a very highly detailed 3D scan of a statue head from Palmyra.

many 3D professionals have asked for further information about our techniques and our work. To satisfy your curiosity, we offer you today a complete 3D Model of a statue scanned in Palmyra in April 2016 by Iconem and the DGAM (Directorate General of Antiquities and Museums). Thanks to this kit, you will be able to give birth to new art works.

As an enthusiastic user of Blender, Iconem offers you to discover in this package a .Blend file containing a lighting, material and rendering setup. This Blend file will allow you to create your own modelings, animations and 3D renderings using the elements contained in the package.

  1. Hi i have troubles while downloading the model on her website, the loading bar is still turning, but no downloading, i used a temp mail service.

    Anyone as the same problem ?
