Hi, everyone! My name is Reynante Martinez, a 3D artist from the Philippines and the founder/creator of The Cycles Material Vault, a library of high quality materials for Blender. I hold a degree in Computer Science, but by heart, I am a self-taught CG artist with emphasis on storytelling and emotions. I have been in the CG industry for almost 12 years now and the Blender community has been the best that I've had so far.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
