Great little trick here, even if it only works well on low-poly models!

This tutorial I show how to put doors into walls without destructing your mesh, it's a great tutorial for those who work with architecture modeling... enjoy!

Good quick and dirty tutorial!
But it pains me seeing people use the Boolean modifier, especially on such simple task. SO! I highly suggest Bool Tool by Blender Artist user Vitorbalbio! This has been one of my favorite tools for doing quick CAD style modeling for prototype design and 3d printing.
Check out the Blender Artist thread here : http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?336498-BoolTool-0-2
Hope that is useful!
Thanks Nathan, I will definitely take a look at this Bool Tool
Very cool use for booleans. It applies booleans to a problem that I wouldn't normally think of
Thanks my friend for the feedback... This feature is very nice, and unfortunately underrated
We could parent the cube to the door frame.
Yes, you can parent the cube, for more easy movement...
You are right but i want to people know about this addon the easy way to make bool!

Work with ( CTRL+Shift+Q ) this is the power full booltool !
Always try to do everything as simple and with as few tools as possible. When you have an addon for everything, you become dependent on too many factors and you're nothing without those crutches.
And this one is about your tutorials

Let's do some fun ;)
For bigger projects, dozens of doors/windows its better to use linked duplicates combo with duplifaces/Solidify modifier combo. One object is cutter with solidify modifier and another duplicate act as duplifaces.
