Andreas Esau has updated his popular Driver Constraint add-on (his original announcement got a record number of comments).
Andreas writes:
I just wanted to let you know I released a new version of my Driver Constraint Addon. This addon is for everyone who hates it to setup Drivers within blender. With this addon it is done superfast and supereasy.
The addon can be downloaded freely from my github page.
In the first version you could only setup driver for shapekeys with this addon. So this was usefull for rigging facial expressions or something else where you want to drive custom shapekeys.
But it was only limited to create shapekey driver.
With this new release of the addon you can create driver for almost any object, material or texture property. That way you can easily drive any propery with bones and animate them.

This rocks! This is the kind of UI/UX work that is most helpful in Blender, to me at least. Thank you for sharing!
Can you drive poses from the pose library, too? That would be a helpful revolution for the animation process.
@BEN
no.. this won't be possible unfortunatelly. Poses from pos libs are stored in normal actions. I just tried. The active pose index does not support drivers.
So this won't be doable.
