"Wounded", a voxel animation made with Blender

6

Some fantastic voxel animations by Robert Olisah.

"Wounded" is a small voxelisation project made by me, on purpuse testing the capabilities of voxel animation on blender. The whole system is based on particle systems and remesh modifiers. The render times were really fast, took only few days to render the whole thing. But setting up the whole thing was pain in the a**. Obviously viewport was all laggy (with my GTX650) when in came down into 100000+ voxels. So it took a lot of testing to get a nice result.

Any sort of question or feedback is welcome :)

This is friggin' beautiful! Great animation, perfect timing, and choice of music!
Only point of criticism I have is that it ends kind of abruptly. Perhaps a fade to black would have worked better. Well... that, and I kinda wished it was at least 10 minutes longer :P

  2. The first cube animation is perfect for something I need to do. Would you post a tutorial on how to do it please? Would really appreciate it!
