Tony Mullen has been working on 'Electric Town' since 2011 (I first mentioned him when he had won a screenwriting award that allowed him to turn his short novel into a full script).
It was finished in 2014, but could not yet be released online as it participated in film festivals where it has won multiple awards:
Tony writes:
At long last, I’m very pleased to finally present the full film online for public viewing! It’s been a pretty amazing few years, as you can see from checking out the archives of this blog. It was a long, painstaking process, but it was a lot of fun and very rewarding.
I’m grateful to everybody who worked on the film and to everybody who supported the process in any way. I couldn’t have done it without all the help.
And for anybody who takes the time to watch the movie, thanks so much for your interest, and I hope you enjoy it!

Tony - great movie. I remember following your early production work on this on Blendernation. Glad to have seen the final product. I live in Tokyo but didn't recognize the area he lived in. Where was it?
Hi! Thanks!
The movie was shot all over town, but the front of the character's home was in Kanda. Parts of the street in front of his home were shot in Shimokitazawa.
I was thinking parts reminded me of Shimokitazawa.
sometime strange but I liked it, congrats on the work done, technically it's also really well done!
Thanks!
