Caminandes: Llamigos!

9

If you were on Twitter last night, the tension was nerve-wracking: everyone was waiting for the release as the Caminandes was working on perfecting their third movie even during the last few minutes. But the result is once again better the other two parts - they have excelled at character building and story telling.

Will Koro finally get some berries? Enjoy, and let us know what you think!

Koro’s next adventure is here! It's winter in Patagonia, food is getting scarce. Koro the Llama engages with Oti the pesky penguin, in an epic fight over that last tasty berry.

The movie is out but our work is far from over. We're currently preparing a lot of extra material and tutorials for the next few weeks, along with the full production files to be shared exclusively with the cloud subscribers.

Special thanks goes to the music by Torin Borrowdale, the sound effects by Sander Houtman and the render power of RenderStreet.

Please let us know your impressions and help us share the llamallove all over the Internet!

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Very well done Blender Team!! Thanks you!! I love how we see more sides of Koro, and him being in this cool landscape!

I've been showing the trailer to colleagues, friends and family, and they were all amazed by how good the trailer was. Now I cannot wait to show them the full short movie!

    Thanks!

Absolutely wonderful. When I think about the work that went into that 2:30 mins. I get dizzy. Congratulations on a job superbly done. Good story line also.

  3. An excellent job on this, its very professional the story is great and the whole thing must have been a heck of a lot of worth a worthy peer to all the classic blender foundation animations.
