World's Highest Backflip

The NoobtownMonkeys are awesome! Really, check out their YouTube channel. They occasionally use Blender too, like in 'Minigames in real life' and 'Achievements in real life'. In their latest episode, they leave the Earth's atmosphere ;-)

Hi There,

World's Highest Backflip is our latest VFX Creation!

We scanned a 3D Version of me, rigged, and animated it. For the Planetary Scenes, we created some HDRIS with the "almost free" version of VUE, and used them in Blender. The whole camerawork and Fire/Smoke was done in Blender! Thanks to Blendergrid, rendering the project was no problem!

Hope you enjoy it! Creating the CG scenes for this project was an awesome but pretty sleepless experience!

We'd be happy for any kind of support!

Thanks!

best regards!

That's a lot of exclamation marks ;-) (!)

  1. Very silly, I ended up watching with a smile on my face. It's often fun to watch other people doing something well and having fun doing it, and this for me was a good example of that. Well done!
