- Display optimizations (with a comparison to 2.75)
- Pixars OpenSubdiv is in trunk (Animators: fun times ahead!) (2:33)
Blenderplayer (6:16):
- Allows sound playback for movies
- Allow play-pause with space button
- Allow displaying a position indicator with the I button
Nodes & Rendering (7:40):
- Point density texture support
- Expose Clip image extension type (14:50)
- Auto-offset nodes on insertion (17:23)

I love Beck's videos -- they show a thorough understanding of Blender, and quickly demonstrate new features.
The usual essential viewing from Thomas! Quick, quiet and efficient, like having your own personal tutor. I usually install the new version of Blender and then go through Thomas' latest Sneak Peak to check all the new features.
Please tag this as Blender Development, there are gaps when some of them are "development" and others are "3D News" only and it makes browsing by category more error-prone.
