Episcura adds a bandwidth free page

0

Following feedback on my first post about Episcura, they have now added a page with HDRi images that you can download without signing up and without worrying about your daily download limit.

Chris Sikkenga writes:

Thanks to all the BlenderNation readers that gave us feedback upon our initial launch. Two of the biggest concerns artists had were dealing with the limitations of the free account tier. Some didn't like the fact that they had to create an account to download the daily 15MB. To clarify, we do not ask for any credit card or payment method during the account sign up process. Many other new users were frustrated with the fact that the 15MB daily bandwidth was not enough to download the HDR images. In a response to both concerns we have created a Bandwidth Free Page.

This new page does not require a login and will not count against your daily bandwidth if you are logged in. As we're adding new images weekly to episcura.com, from time to time we'll be updating the textures, seamless images, snapshots and HDRIs on this page, so visit often.

Other revisions include the ability to drag and drop images into your project folders on the site. Furthermore, you can share those project lightboxes with clients or coworkers. Simply use the share icon in the bottom left of your project tab to get a link you can give others. The individuals that you share the link with will not have to be logged in to see the textures, snapshots and HDRI you have placed in the lightbox.
