Photorealistic HDR Setup In Blender

Hey everyone!

The last couple of weeks I've been digging a bit into the topic of using HDR images with Blender and Cycles. I think it resulted in some interesting stuff and one of them is the tutorial I decided to write. It very quickly covers the ways of using HDR maps in Blender and Cycles, as well as gives you some tips on how to properly setup HDR images for best rendering results. You can find the tutorial here.

On top of that I'd also like to share a free, high resolution HDR image for any commercial / hobbyist use. It's 12000 x 8000 px in size, custom adjusted with 3D scenes in mind. You can download it here.

I really hope you find both of these useful in your work.

Best wishes and happy blending!
Lechu
