The Blender Institute is preparing for their next project, a short movie done in three months. As always, if you have a Blender Cloud account you can witness the entire process.
Announcing a new open movie project for the Blender Cloud: Glass Half!
Over the next 3 months the Blender Foundation will produce a new ~3 minute cartoon short with a simple story, snappy animation and rendered in a non photo-realistic style. The focus will be on short form storytelling, good design and clear animation.
The project will be directed by Beorn Leonard, designed by Sarah Laufer and during the production phase, will involve the whole crew at the Blender Institute.

That's great news!
I was hoping for a quick, simple and cartoony Open Movie Project by the Blender Institute for quite a while and here it is. :)
Good luck with the project!
