New Release: Blender For Dummies, 3rd edition

0

Jason van Gumster presents the 3rd edition of his book, Blender for Dummies.

The latest edition of Blender For Dummies has nearly 100 pages of new content, covering a wide swath of features added since the last edition of the book. In addition to all of the various workflow changes and interface updates, this includes topics like rendering in both Cycles and Blender Internal, working with the smoke simulator, and fuller coverage for Blender's compositor and node editor.

This edition of the book also more directly aligns itself as a beginner's reference. In order to cover more features, most of the tutorials in the book have been removed from the text and made freely available on the official Blender For Dummies website, blenderbasics.com. I'll be posting a tutorial there each day for the next week and a half, so be sure to check it out!
