Sink Hole in the street

0

Sottozen new short! I just love those ;-)

A little tribute to Andrew Price from Blender Guru. Since when i started working in Blender 3D ( 2 years ago after more than 15 year using Softimage) I followed Andrew Price's tutorials and his way to explain helped me a lot in learning this powerful new 3D software. So, one of his famous tutorial was about tracking camera in Blender and how to put a "hole" in the scene. And this is our little and simple test of what we learned from him, hope you.. and also Andrew will like this :)

This is the link to the original Blender Guru tutorial.

Some details:

  • Car marks on the street were realized using the "dynamic paint" feature in Blender.
  • Filmed using our Canon 5D and Magic Lantern firmware.
  • Some visual element are from Videocopilot "Action essential"
  • Music is from YouTube free library
  • Sounds effects are from Pond5.
  • All visual effects are done with Blender 3D.

Any comments are welcome :)

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
