Cult is a new music video by Dileep (me), a 3d artist and musician from Trivandrum, India for a project called Dolphin.
The video was made all by myself over a couple of months.
Made in Blender 2.71 and bit of Inkscape for textures.
The project being generally light weight, allowed me to edit the whole video by using scene files in the sequence editor. It saved me a lot of time and storage space. I absolutely love that feature.
It was rendered in Cycles simply for the fast motion-blur and viewport preview. There are no lights and only emission shaders are used. Cycles baking was real handy. There are a lot of texture animations. Cycles made everything easy.
