Archimesh architecture add-on adds grease pencil tool and more

The 1.0.0 release of Archimesh adds support for drawing layouts with the grease pencil tool, support for other languages and more.

After some time, I would like to announce that new Archimesh v1.0.0 is ready for download.

A new tool for creating rooms using grease pencil was added. With this tool, you will speed up your work.

From now on, you can use Blender in your own language and not only in English.

Changes in version 1.0.0 (The version 0.9 was an internal release and it was not published):

  • New Grease Pencil tool for creating rooms.
  • The kitchen cabinets can be rotated.
  • More options for kitchen countertop.
  • The doors can be rotated during creation.
  • The windows can be rotated during creation.
  • Improved boolean operator for autohole function.
  • Fixed error using languages different of English.
  • Small bug fixing.

  1. Total noob question, but how the heck does one download this from Github? I get a lot of links, but not one of them is clearly a download link. IMHO, GitHub isn't for the casual user. :(

      • Thanks for the reply Januz, but damned if I could find how to find that folder you mentioned, much less "go up one directory..."

        So I did what usually works when confronted with an obscure/mystery interface: I clicked on something and then something else. Eventually I got the Zip file button on the right side. Beats me how I got to it, though.

        *Sheesh*

        Like I said, not casual user friendly. at. all. Now I know why I usually stay away from GitHub, it's obfuscation for the sake of unnecessary complication. At least that's what it seems like to me.
