Blenderheads in Minnesota are meeting next week!

Are you like me? Does the thought of navigating the node editor to create a simple material for Cycles fill you with dread? Do you say to hell with it and go back to making game assets? (I know I do.)

Well, November 4th month we're going to tackle creating materials in Cycles, starting with the basics and working our way up. We'll realize the flexibility of using nodes, and discover why it's replacing Blender Internal as the default renderer (soon).

The meetup is moved from its normal first Sunday so as not to compete with the Viking's game (vs. The-Team-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named). I promise this is the correct day this month.

As always, UofM, Keller Hall, room 1-260, 1-4pm.
