A cute little character by Jonathan Esquivel, including a timelapse.
Jonathan Esquivel writes:
Based on the main character of "Courage The Cowardly Dog", a quick sculpt of the main character, Courage (Dah!). Everything done in Blender (Sculpt/Vertexpaint) and a few textures on Gimp.
Here's a timelapse showing the process behind the 3D model done in Blender.
Otherwise you could visit my Facebook page You can find the timelapse there, plus more art pieces and stuff, hope you like it. ^_^

Sometimes, in the "translation" from 2D to 3D the character loses his style. It's difficult to keep the visual characteristics. In this case, the result are superb.
Indeed Roberto, I've done a few other sculpts of 2D characters (translated to 3D) most of them lost it's essence :O
