Blender Market: Render+

1

The Render+ addon by  januz adds a couple of useful options to Blender such as notifications and switching off your computer when the render is done.
Render+ is a Blender addon that helps you save time and frustration when rendering.

Features:

  • Render in the background- Runs the rendering in a separate process without an interface, so you can close Blender and your render will continue silently.
  • Desktop Notifications (Linux and OS X only)- A message will pop in your desktop once rendering is finished.
  • Preview Render - Start an OpenGL render using the active camera with invisible objects hidden (lamps, cameras, etc). Easily check animations before commiting to a full render.
  • Pre and Post-render actions - For advanced users that want to run specific commands or Python scripts before or after rendering. You can use this to upload rendered files to a FTP server, send emails and more!
  • Autosave - Automatically save image renders to your output folder.
  • Show rendertime for an animation - See the full time it took to render an animation from the first frame to the last.
  • Enable all layers in 3D View before rendering - Ever left Blender rendering for hours only to find you forgot to turn on a layer? Never again! Render+ does it for you.
  • Turn off after rendering - Set the computer to sleep or shut down when rendering is finished so you can save power.

Render+ sells for $12 on the Blender Market.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
