A study of Blender's Dynamic Paint settings

5

Nils Martel has compiled a video of the effect of different settings of Dynamic Panit.

While ago I tried out some settings of Dynamic Paint and rendered out how they influence the result.

I hope you can benefit from this little effort of mine :)

    • agreed dynamic paint is one of the most useful simulation features of blender because it has so many uses. although I remember a branch being in the works that introduced features such as force field interaction and paint blurring and smudging. what ever happened to that project?

I"m glad you too like my work :) I don't know much about the past of Dynamic Paint, but when I was first using it you could influence it using force fields and stuff already, take a brief look at it, it's implemented in blender since a while
