I don't do many BBB sightings anymore, but this one caught my attention as it was such an unlikely place to find it ;-)

That's great! Was it playing the whole movie? I personally don't see the connection between Big Buck Bunny and topping up, but if anyone can explain to me how the whole short movie was actually an allegory for currency devaluation I'd certainly be interested to hear it!
It's a big buckS bunny-machine ;-)
Yea.. I don't get it either.. But still cool.. :)
well that is some original marketing. I can't imagine how it got there or more importantly... why? seems like creative commons is being a little abused recently (Tears of Steel in that Dell workstation commercial for example) but at least blender is getting some publicity.
What do you mean abused? The license allows use like that. There is no abuse here, right?
re-use in this case is not abuse. if it's not cc-nc then people can use it however they want, even commercially.
Nice one!!
Last week i saw BBB as "screensaver" on 6 or 7 monitors in an larger Electronic store here in northern germany...BBB is still out there....
I often see on screens in examples for things; though those are typically still images advertising some product or another. have yet to see it displayed irl- better keep eyes peeled :)
why does this appear 3 times on the article list at Blender.org though?
good question! no idea :)
