Following up on his previous tip on removing compression artifacts in the compositor, Björn Sonnenschein now offers a 'feathering' trick.

Sometimes you would really need some nodes to have a feathering feature that blurs their effect, but not the Image itself. In my recent Post I explain a simple Trick to achieve this.

One thing to note is that this *slightly* changes the gamma and saturation of the image. Putting the gamma to 0.96 (from 1) seemed to clear this up for me
