The Portland, Oregon Blender User Group (BlenderPDX) is holding a meeting on Saturday, the 19th of April at the Art Institute or Portland, room 213 (a Mac lab) from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Seating is limited, but everyone is welcome to come, explore, and share their experiences with Blender! We are very newb friendly, because we are all newbs.
There's no need to bring anything but yourself. However, you may benefit from bringing your own thumb drive to swap-n-share and save all sorts of stuff that we'll be doing.
