Video: Cardcaptor Sakura Opening Sequence

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Really impressive!
Looks just like the original opening scene.
    You are one talented artist!
    Congratulations!

  2. The production value is off the chain! The quad-view breakdown was also excellent.

There is a very noticeable difference though at 2:46 where the water doesn't move and ripple. With the great attention to detail, I imagine that was a conscious choice; I wonder why it was omitted.
